Terms of service

These terms apply to Aval, which lets an AI agent ask you a question and wait for your answer. Aval is published and sold by Antoine Labbe (taraxe.com), reachable at aval@taraxe.com. Using Aval means you accept these terms.

Account

You create your account by signing in with your email address, from your AI app (Claude, ChatGPT…) or from the site. You are responsible for what the agents you connect do: they act on your behalf. You can disconnect an app from your account page, and ask for your account to be deleted at any time.

The service

Aval passes your agent's questions to you through the channels you chose and sends your answer back. Aval decides nothing for you: an unanswered question expires and does not count as approval. Delivery depends on third-party services (email, Telegram, WhatsApp, iMessage) and is not guaranteed; Aval cannot be held responsible for something your agent does without your answer.

Price and payment

Every account gets 20 free questions. After that, questions are paid with packs of credits bought from your account page (100 questions for €10, 250 questions for €20, 1000 questions for €50), one question being one credit. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French tax code. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Credits do not expire while the account exists; they cannot be exchanged or refunded, except under the right of withdrawal.

Right of withdrawal

On the payment page, you ask for your credits to be usable right away. For 14 days after a purchase, you can withdraw: the unused credits of that pack are refunded to the card used, within 14 days of your request. Deleting your account erases remaining credits: ask for any refund first. To withdraw, send a clear statement to aval@taraxe.com, for example using this template: “To Antoine Labbe, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel, EI), 35 rue Laffiteau, 33800 Bordeaux, France, SIREN 537 631 426 (Aval, taraxe.com), aval@taraxe.com. I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the purchase of the credit pack below. Pack: … questions, ordered on … . Name: … . Account email: … . Date: … .”

Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability. It depends on third-party services (Cloudflare, Stripe, and the notification channels) that can be interrupted. The publisher's liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the service. These limits apply to the extent permitted by law. They do not deprive consumers of the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French consumer code), nor of their right to compensation for gross negligence or personal injury.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, first write to aval@taraxe.com to find an amicable solution. These terms are governed by French law.

Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top of the page shows the latest version. Purchases already made remain governed by the version in force at the time of purchase.
